Due to a serious sickness of their original drummer the guys asked me to overtake the drummer's seat until he recovered.
I had a great time playing several shows, some with more than 40 songs, and i really can say that we rocked the stage.
But anyway, fortunately the original drummer is fit again and Airbag will be back on stage soon.

I composed a musical/tragical for the German Church Band "5 Brote und 2 Fische".
Currently recording and writing scores...

I've joined the Revival Band "Moonchild" where i play drums. The first show turned out pretty well but no further gigs are planned so far.
Maybe a recording session and a few more shows will follow later this year.

A dream came true. After a long planning time my ultimate blog for drummers and all those who just love drums went online on January 1.
Powered by the excellent "Wordpress" Software it's ready to stay alive for years.

I wrote numerous workshops and articles for some special editions of "Gamestar":
Second Life in-world-name "Slayde Lane".
It was great fun to work with the people at Gamestar and i hope we will realize new projects soon.

In August 2006 my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. I dedicate "Gold" to them.

The ambitioned Pop/Rock-Duo recorded five songs in 2004: I've been waiting, Back in life again, Leader of men, Mama told me & You better run.
But due to a serious Hard Disk Crash all recordings have been distroyed, except the rough mix of I've been waiting.

Unfortunately we failed to manage a restart. We tried with new singer Ina Leidereiter but the power was gone somehow.
I also quit the drummer job in the Bon Jovi Revival Band (Bounce) after the season.

Inspired by the rides on some spectacular Roller Coasters, like Expedition G-Force and Goliath, i produced the instrumental song Steelraider.

We did not only unplug the instruments and played a little more quiet, but we changed the whole style of most our songs.
Hardrock changed into Bossa Nova, Jazz and other "strange" musical styles. And the audience loved it; we did a couple of successful concerts with the unplugged set up and recorded one of those gigs to press it on CD (sold out).

On February 22, we presented the first "real" 7th Seal Album in a 3h live show, including a 10min long drum solo :)
It was one of the greatest experiences i've ever made; to produce the album (which took many months, due to a series of problems), create the cover artwork and play that wonderful evening with this fine band.
Really good to remember.
2001/2002
I joined the band of my long-time mate Joe Brozio to record the drums on his album Round and Round, which was released in 2002 by Arizona Records.
It's a fine collection of song-oriented, handmade music and it was great fun to record the album and work with Joe again.
